Special Dietary Needs

Campus Dining Services does their best to meet the needs of all their customers. If you have any special dietary concerns such as low cholesterol, low fat, or low sugar diets, please feel free to visit our Campus Dining Nutritionist for a FREE consultation. Medical Exemptions

If you have special dietary needs based on allergies or other medical conditions it is important for you to meet with our Campus Dining Nutritionist. We will evaluate your needs and dietary restrictions to determine whether or not Campus Dining Services is able to meet your needs. To make an appointment call(631) 632-9979.

 

Other Meal Plan Exemption

You are not required to be on a meal plan if you are a first or second semester student, 23 years or older and living in a cooking room.

 

Kosher Dining Options

Kosher dining is available Monday through Friday at the Delancey Street Glatt Kosher Delicatessen and Restaurant located in the student union building.

 

Halal Dining Options

Halal food is available Monday through Friday during lunch and dinner in the Stony Brook Union. The Union Commons offers lunch selections each day between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. on Fridays).

 

Vegetarian Food
