Responsibilities:: The Public Relations (PR) Database Manager is a research and communications support position for the Faculty Student Association dedicated to facilitating efficient, positive public relations processes . The primary role of this position will be to establish, generate and maintain information regarding FSA operations, programs or budgetary items — especially noteworthy changes in these areas that will serve as the basis for generating a variety of communications vehicles such as press releases, responses to student media/ journalism class assignment inquiries, marketing materials, content for the FSA website and information used in support of proposals and the FSA budget. The PR Database Manager continuously monitors and researches new FSA initiatives and major changes, confers with respective staff and other involved parties, drafts accurate input for the database and maintains the database to ensure that accurate current, easily retrievable information is available for use primarily by the FSA Marketing Director and other FSA staff as needed.This is not a State position.
