Responsibilities: Candidate will work with My Laundry Station management promoting the company’s Vending application and Office Pickup and Delivery services for overnight dry cleaning and laundry throughout Stony Brook University Campus. On Mondays and Thursdays the staff member will visit various campus office locations handing our brochures etc and on Wednesdays the candidate will participate in Campus Life activities at the various Dining Halls. Responsibilities: The position of Reporter for The Seawolves Food Show is a broadcast video editing, filming and scriptwriting position for the Faculty Student Association. A reporter’s responsibilities include developing stories, writing and editing scripts, filming and editing show segments, shooting b-roll and acting as an on camera persona for Seawolves Food Show stories pertaining to FSA and Campus Dining Services. The primary role of this position will be to aid the Seawolves Food Show Student Producer for Broadcast Media and FSA Director of Marketing & Communications to complete bi-weekly or monthly food and nutrition show segments. A reporter may also be called upon to shoot training videos and act as a second camera-person or video editor for another reporter’s segment of the show.

Responsibilities: The Public Relations (PR) Database Manager is a research and communications support position for the Faculty Student Association dedicated to facilitating efficient, positive public relations processes. The primary role of this position will be to establish, generate and maintain information regarding FSA operations, programs or budgetary items — especially noteworthy changes in these areas that will serve as the basis for generating a variety of communications vehicles such as press releases, responses to student media/ journalism class assignment inquiries, marketing materials, content for the FSA website and information used in support of proposals and the FSA budget. The PR Database Manager continuously monitors and researches new FSA initiatives and major changes, confers with respective staff and other involved parties, drafts accurate input for the database and maintains the database to ensure that accurate current, easily retrievable information is available for use primarily by the FSA Marketing Director and other FSA staff as needed.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION YOU MUST: Submit Resume, writing samples (i.e. Press release, Academic assignment, or Creative writing sample) and, if possible, provide evidence of social media activity (i.e. blog or social media engagement)

Campus Dining Points

Campus Dining Points may be used anytime at the Student Activities Center, Union Commons, Union Deli, Starbucks, Delancey Street, Roth Food Court, Roth Regatta Café featuring Red Mango, West Side Dining, Jasmine Food Court, Tabler Café as well as Stadium and Arena Concessions.

Meal plans are tax-exempt which saves you money on every food and beverage purchase you make.

Billable to Account

Please Note: Your Student Account must be in good standing in order to replenish your meal plan and have it billed to your account. Meal Plans are based on the academic year, the meal plan you select for the Fall Semester will be the meal plan you are given in the Spring Semester.

Summer Meal Plans (Unused Balance)

Unused balance from Summer Meal Plans will be carried over to the Fall semester at which time your fall semester meal plan policies apply.

Return & Exchange Policy

  1. Returns and exchanges should be made within 14 days of the date of purchase.
  2. All refunds must have a sales receipt.
  3. Exchanges may be made without a sales receipt.
  4. Merchandise must be unopened and in original condition for return or exchange.
  5. Merchandise that is found to be damaged upon opening maybe exchanged for the exact same item.
  6. All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
  7. All sales of Microsoft Software, Maple, Mathematica, Mini-Tab, SAS and SPSS are final. All other software titles will only be returned if they are in their original sealed packages.
  8. All clothing being returned must be in its original condition with all tags still attached.
