Student Staff Council Committee
The Student Staff Council is a body of students which discusses student employment issues, develops solutions, and takes actions toward addressing concerns and problems of students in their work environments.
This committee provides experience for students to gain a pragmatic perspective, new insights and understanding of organizations, work processes and group dynamics by networking with other students in discussing and solving real world work issues to improve their work experiences. Exploring issues of concern to student employees help to develop critical thinking and decision making skills which are the foundation of affecting needed improvements in their own work environments and also provides the student members with the skills and experiential contexts that are most frequently requested by employers and desired by academicians alike. All working students are welcome to join us in this unique undertaking.
