FSA – the Stony Brook Faculty Student Association operates with no State support and is responsible for generating revenues to support its services, fund major capital improvements, and contribute to the educational, health care, and outreach missions of the University. Over the past five years, FSA has provided funding for over $15 million in capital improvements, mostly in dining hall renovations, $4 million in University program support, $3.5 million in student employment, and $600,000 in student scholarships.

Bookstore Campus Account
Bookstore Campus Account is a taxable debit account offering the convenience of purchasing and renting textbooks and school supplies from the University Bookstore, Matthew’s HSC Medical Books & Uniforms and Seawolves MarketPlace with a University ID card. The Bookstore Campus Account can be opened in $100 increments from $200 through $1,100 per semester. The amount you select is charged to your Student Account and may be deferred against financial aid or paid in monthly installments using the University’s Time Option Payment Plan (TOPP). Wolfie Wallet is a taxable debit account that allows you to use your Stony Brook ID card to make purchases from vending machines, pay for food and beverages from participating off campus merchants, wash and dry your laundry, make purchases at on campus retail locations such as the Seawolves MarketPlace, the University Bookstore, Matthew’s HSC Bookstore, Jasmine Food Court and Campus Dining Services locations. Wolfie Wallet is not part of the Meal Plan. Save 10% when you use Wolfie Wallet at off campus merchants such as Bagel Express, Burger King, Cabo Fresh, Greek-To-Go, Cool Monkey, Subway and Privato Hair Studio. Sales tax must be paid on purchases using Wolfie Wallet. Money can be added with cash at any cash-to-account machine, online at stonybrook.edu/wolfiewallet or by paying cash or credit card through the FSA Office. Locker Rentals are available to rent in three locations on the West Campus – the Melville Library, the Stony Brook Union and the Student Activities Center. You can reserve your locker and pay for your rental fees online at fsa.sunysb.edu/services/locker-rentals. Locker rentals cost $56 for the academic year which includes a $25 refundable key deposit. Prices include sales tax. To pick up your key for your locker, bring your Stony Brook ID Card to the FSA Office. Please Note: Key deposits will only be refunded provided the key is returned by Commencement in May of the rental academic year.
Student Staffing Resources
The Student Staffing Resources Office provides a range of résumé building training, student internships, student entrepreneurships and employment opportunities and avails a host of other resources to provide SBU students with hands-on work experience and skill development as well as a welcome source of income. To apply, complete and submit a Student Employment Application at the FSA Offices, or fill out an application at stonybrook.edu/fsa/ssr. FSA provides students with more than 70 residential laundry rooms featuring energy and water-efficient washers and dryers. Students can swipe their ID card and use Wolfie Wallet funds to pay for use of the laundry machines on campus. Alerts can be sent directly to a student’s phone or email when the laundry cycle is done with Laundryview, a free program which tracks activity in each of the campus laundry rooms. The UPS Store
The UPS Store provides print and copy services, as well as notary services, packing and shipping services and supplies, virtual mailboxes, fax services, metered mail, and wide format banners, posters and signs. The UPS store has two locations on campus, a full-service location on the Lower Level of Melville Library and a satellite kiosk in the Union Lobby. ID/Meal Plan Office (East Campus)
ID/Meal Plan Office (East Campus) issues and replaces all East Campus ID cards and badges. The office is located in Room 162 on Level 3 of the Health Science Center. When classes are in session, office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am to 4pm, Tuesday from 10am to 4:30pm and Thursday 7:30am to 3pm. For more information call 444-8151.
FSA Services Office (West Campus)
FSA Services Office (West Campus) handles all matters related to West Campus meal plans, dual meal plans (for HSC students only), locker rentals, Wolfie Wallet and Bookstore Campus Accounts. To address a vending issue or problem related to your ID card not working in the Cash-to-Account machines and/or laundry equipment please visit the FSA Office. To obtain a new ID card or replace your existing ID card, go to the ID Office, Room 254 in the Administration Building. To add money to your Resident or Commuter Meal Plan, report your lost card, check your balance, review your spending history, and get information about the different meal plans offered to students, visit campusdining.org. You can also download the Stony Brook Campus Card app on your mobile device through the Apple App store or Google Play.

Studio 97 Full Service Salon is located in the Lower Level of the Student Union Building, Room 043. Studio 97 does everything from Hair to Pedicures, Open 5 days a week with 2 late nights. Matthew’s HSC Bookstore
Matthew’s HSC Medical Books & Uniforms offers the largest selection of medical and health science books in the region, in addition to a range of college merchandise, daily necessities and medical equipment. They also carry a full line of name brand scrubs and medical shoes, competitively priced. The bookstore buys back textbooks all year-round, sells used books when they are available and is happy to special order books or other merchandise by request. University Bookstore is located on the ground level of the Melville Library across from the Stony Brook Union. Many textbook buying options are available! You can choose from rental, digital, used, and new books. Magazines, general and reference books, study aids and lab materials are also available. Shop for school, computer, art and residence hall living supplies, electronics, stationery, backpacks and seasonal accessories. The clothing and gift department offers a large variety of Stony Brook & Seawolves merchandise. The bookstore buys back textbooks year-round no matter where you bought them. Seawolves MarketPlace is a retail store located off the main lobby of the Student Activities Center. In addition to the large selection of Stony Brook logo merchandise and apparel at affordable prices, the store carries school supplies, health and beauty aids and cell phone and computer accessories. You will also find a Green Mountain Coffee bar, fresh bakery items, bottled beverages, candy, snacks and premade foods. The store displays laptop demonstration units recommended and supported by Stony Brook University’s Client Support Team. My Laundry Station
My Laundry Station is a patent pending vending system for overnight, wash, dry and fold laundry service and next day dry cleaning service. Customers place their bag of dirty laundry in one of the laundry unit containers by 3pm and pick it up after 4pm the next day (7 days a week). For dry cleaning, customers can drop off their clothing by 11am and it will be ready for pickup by 12pm the next day (Mon. – Fri.). Sixteen-Week Semester Plans, available online at mylaundrystation.com will save you money and can be purchased with PayPal, credit or debit cards.
